IT ALL STARTED WITH ONE WORD

SiSú is a Finnish word for determination: the grit to keep going when it would be easier to stop. It's the name of our family business. It's also the best description we've ever found of Katie Taylor.

SiSú began in our family kitchen, with Fiona McGann making better-for-you drinks for the people she loved most: her own family. That small start grew into an Irish-owned, family-run business and one of Ireland's best-selling health and functional drinks brands, with 13 Great Taste awards along the way.

Aisling moved home from Australia to help build what her parents started, and today she leads the business alongside her dad, Brian. The principle hasn't changed since that kitchen: make it taste incredible, make it genuinely better for you, and never trade one for the other.

KATIE

Long before the titles, Katie was a girl from Bray who played every sport she could. She went on to win Olympic gold, become undisputed world champion, and close her career in front of a sold-out Croke Park, with a nation behind her.

Along the way she changed how Ireland sees women in sport, and opened doors for every girl who came after her.

The same mindset

WE KNEW FROM THE FIRST MEETING. 

Katie had always wanted an Irish brand to stand behind. Not one that would simply put her name on a label, but one that worked the way she does: ambitious, relentless about quality, and unwilling to cut corners to get ahead.

When she sat down with Aisling and Brian, it clicked. Two very different journeys, one from a family kitchen and one from a boxing club in Bray, had arrived at the same place.

In February 2026, we announced the partnership. Seeing it in The Sunday Times was a proud moment for our family. For Katie, it was the moment it all felt real.

FIZZIQUE was never about adding a famous name to a can. Katie worked side by side with Brian and Aisling from the very start, shaping what this drink would be and what it would stand for.

The brief was simple, and hard: a soda people genuinely love, without the sugar, without the sweeteners, without the compromise. So every flavour gets its taste from real fruit juice and natural flavours alone.

SiSú brought years of getting flavour and function to work together. Katie brought a lifetime of knowing exactly what she puts into her body, and why. Different strengths, one shared vision.

Katie has hung up the gloves, but she hasn't slowed down. FIZZIQUE is her next chapter: the same drive that took her to the top, now aimed at helping people make better everyday choices without giving up the things they love.

For SiSú, it's the biggest thing we've ever built. And together, we're aiming well beyond Ireland.
